I've been using Mid City Builders now for many years, they've carried out a variety of work for me on two different properties both small and large jobs and I have always been extremely happy with the work. I would highly recommend them.

We used Mid city builders, for our kitchen/diner knock through and a steel to go through the centre. Nothing but professional throughout. I would highly recommend.

I wish I could review the work that mid city builders had completed. We was supposed to have a lintel fitted above a window and door, with replacement bricks where needed. The problem is they never started the job on both days we was booked in for. First day we was booked in for, both mid city vans turn up. Then they told my wife they had to go and get some bricks. Both vans left to get a “few” bricks. 4hrs later no sign of them so I messaged to see if they had any intention doing the job. Told they had to order bricks and got us booked in for another day. Second time we was booked in for they agreed on a date (10/07/2020) that was suitable for us. They messaged two days early saying they couldn’t do tomorrow (09/07/2020) due to the weather. I messaged back stating it was the 10th we was booked in for. They acknowledged the message but chose to ignore. Our time was wasted and it comes to show that some jobs are just not big enough for them to be bothered about.

New patio , great job by Jake and the team , very efficient, superb quality job , will definitely use again

We had an orangery extension with patio replacement . Alan really listened to what we wanted and was so patient when I was dithering and being indecisive explaining all of the different options in a clear and simple way. Alan and his team are honest , reliable and tidied up every day after themselves before leaving . They checked and offered useful advice at every stage to ensure that the end result was exactly what we wanted . We are thrilled with the standard and quality of the workmanship and couldn’t be happier, we love it . We have no hesitation in recommending them as we are already planning to use them again in the future .

Removed old fencing and replaced with concrete posts, gravel boards and new fence panels. Also cut a hole in brickwork and installed a dog flap. Worked efficiently and tidyed up after themselves, making sure the finish was perfect. Excellent job all round. Would thoroughly recommend.

Alan,Josh and Jake have transformed our bungalow into a fantastic home. All work carried out was to a very high standard. Always polite and nothing was too much trouble, we would highly recommend them.

Jake and Josh from Mid City Builders replaced our rather defunct conservatory with an extension grade Orangery/Garden room plus a new patio. The outcome has exceeded our expectations!I can’t recommend these guys highly enough. From the start of the process to the end result, they worked with professionalism and competence, being attentive to our needs. Their manner was very respectful, polite and reassuring and inspired complete confidence.Their work ethic was second to none, labouring ceaselessly through several of our summer heatwaves! Every contractor who was involved spoke very highly of them and said how they loved working with them. I was impressed with how they cleaned up along the way and were meticulous in their work. They have clearly been mentored by the best, namely their retired dad Alan who made occasional appearances in an advisory capacity. All in all their approach led to a joyful, stressless project.1st photo showing before, 2nd and 3rd during and the rest showing the end result.

Needed some work done internally to split a large room into two. After a lot of searching finally found Mid City Builders and I am so glad I did. I felt reassured from first contact with them that they would do a good job. They seemed to understand exactly what I was trying to achieve and their quote was very reasonable. Work was of an excellent standard and they were so clean and tidy, it made it all so less stressful. They really knew their stuff and all of the trades they used were also of a high quality. I would absolutely recommend them and will definitely be using them them in the future
